The JROTC Color Guard is a specialized team of cadets responsible for presenting and carrying the United States flag, as well as the state flag or sometimes the JROTC flag during ceremonies, parades, and events. The color guard typically consists of four members: two carrying rifles and two carrying flags. They perform precise and ceremonial movements to honor the flags with the utmost respect and dignity. The main goal of color guard is to instill a sense of patriotism, discipline, and pride in the cadets while also developing their drill leadership and teamwork skills.
